Eelco Heintz to Discuss Listeria Prevention


          Niacet’s Product and Innovation Manager has been selected to present at the 2019 International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE) in Atlanta, Georgia.  Eelco Heintz, will lead a Tech Talk session on “Listeria Control in Meat Using Natural Ingredients.”

          “As headlines across the globe cover outbreaks like Listeria, those in the meat and poultry industry are rightly concerned with food safety issues,” said Heintz, who works at Niacet’s production facility in Tiel, the Netherlands.  “At the same time, consumers are demanding clean label products and natural ingredients.  Meeting both demands in a cost-effective way can be a challenge.”

          Heintz’s session will take place on the second day of the IPPE Expo, Wednesday, February 13th at 2:30 in Hall B8725 in the Georgia World Congress Center.

          “I am very much looking forward to engaging leaders in meat and poultry processing in a discussion on natural ingredient Listeria prevention,” said Heintz.  “Niacet will also have out technical experts at our booth during the IPPE to discuss how our Provian line of products represents the next generation in food safety technology.”
