On March 6, Niacet achieved a major milestone as by earning a certification of suitability (CEP) for its Sodium Acetate Trihydrate product. Manufactures seek the certificate so the industry knows that a products meets the highest quality standards for use in medicinal products and pharmaceutical applications.
The certificate is issued by the European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines & HealthCare (EDQM) and affirms Niacet’s commitment to supplying the highest quality active ingredients and excipients for the pharmaceutical industry. This designation means Niacet is in compliance with the relevant monograph of the European Pharmacopoeia (Ph. Eur.) requirements.
