Niagara Falls, NY – Niacet Corporation, the global leader in salts of acetic and propionic acid serving the food, pharmaceutical, animal nutrition and technical market sectors, today announced the hiring of its first ever President & Chief Operating Officer, Jeffrey Rogers. Mr. Rogers brings three decades of national and international business leadership to Niacet.

Mr. Rogers comes to Niacet from Lonza, Inc., where he most recently served as Global Vice President for Consumer Product Ingredients. During his 30-year career, Mr. Rogers has also held leadership positions at Ashland, Inc., AkzoNobel and National Starch and Chemical Co.
“Jeff brings both a science background, with degrees in biology and chemistry, as well as business leadership and acumen from decades of experience at leading ingredient companies,” said Brannen. “His experience with antimicrobials is highly valued as we drive market adoption of our Provian® line of products, which is well positioned to become the next generation of antimicrobial technology in meat and poultry production.”
Rogers said he was attracted to Niacet as he learned about management’s strategic vision as well as the recent steps taken to implement that vision.

Mr. Rogers maintains several professional affiliations including membership in the Institute of Food Technologies, Society of Cosmetic Chemists, Personal Care Products Council and American Cleaning Institute. He will be based out of the Niacet corporate office in Niagara Falls, NY.
