Applications

NIACET Sodium Phenoxy Acetate is a white to off-white crystalline powder. It is the reaction product of Sodium Phenolate and Sodium Chloro Acetate.

This product is useful in the synthesis of a family of ester derivatives. Its most common application has been the fermentation of Penicillin V. However, patent literature also refers to herbicidal carboxylic acid salts of alkylamines, synthesis of insect repellents, esters of cortical hormones and cation exchange resins.

The standard package is bulk sacks of 500 kilogram net weight (1100 lbs.). The product can also be furnished in a 20 kilogram (44 lbs.) multiwall bag - unitized 45 bags per pallet.
