Sodium Acetate Trihydrate

Sodium Acetate, 60% is a trihydrate in the form of clear, fine crystals. The product contains about 40% water of crystallization. At warm temperature and normal humidity, the percentage of water does not vary more than 2%. As the temperature increases, this product loses water content readily, and becomes completely anhydrous at 120°C. It is available in food chemical codex and technical grades.
