Automation systems meeting FDA requirements – Voedingsindustrie May 2013

The May issue of the Dutch Food Industry magazine 'Voedingsindustrie' contains a publication about an automation project at Niacet's site in Tiel, the Netherlands.

"Automation systems for the pharmaceutical and food industries must meet strict (legal) requirements. Many European customers also request their suppliers to meet the regulations of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
Since Niacet has many end customers in the food industry, their product processes have to meet the requirements of the FDA. Through the GAMP methodology (Good Automated Manufacturing Practice) Niacet and Alewijnse developed a validated automation system."
