We are writing to you in connection with the sale of Kemira's food, pharmaceutical and acetate based chemical businesses to Niacet, including Kemira's Dutch subsidiary Kemira ChemSolutions B.V. and its manufacturing site in Tiel, The Netherlands. The completion of the sale has taken place on March 1, 2013.

We endeavor to make this a smooth transition for all Niacet customers. The name of Kemira ChemSolutions b.v. has changed to Niacet b.v.

Niacet is announcing a $0.05/lb increase on list and off-list prices for all propionates, effective for shipments on or after January 1, 2013 or as contract conditions allow. This increase is necessary due to increasing costs of petrochemical feedstocks.
