Food Application Overview

Niacet’s food products are used in various applications in order to ensure food safety, shelf life extension and the production of high quality food products. Apart from the main product lines for Bakery preservation and Quality (Probake and Niaproof), Acidity Regulation and Flavoring (Progusta) and Meat Preservation (Provian), Niacet’s products can also be used in other various food applications, as presented in the following map.

For example calcium propionate and sodium propionate are also used for preservation of cheese and cheese analogues or other processed cheese products.
