NIACET Calcium Acetate is supplied as a hemihydrate in the form of a fine white bulky powder. This product is "Generally Regarded As Safe" by the Food and Drug Administration.
Calcium Acetate as a food ingredient has uses as a sequestrant, thickener, or for pH control. It has also found an application in the petroleum and textiles industries.
NIACET Calcium Acetate is furnished in 50 lb. bags and 100 lb. drums. It is available in both Technical and Food Chemical Codex Grades.
